What is convection and what are some situations this type of heat transfer wouldnt work?

Convectionis the distribution of heat by way of moving particles. As these particles move out of one area, they take the thermal energy with them to the new area.

when currents that transfer heat throughout gasses or liquids is called convection.

An example of convection is when a boiling tea pot is grabed the heat is transfered to the hand.|||convection
