Does anyone know real name for transfer type paper?

It comes in silver and gold for crafts and also black and comes on a backing and when you put it against a surface and rub it it comes off the backing and sticks to the surface. Anyone know what its called? as its impossible to ask for it without knowing its name!|||With all due respect; NO I don't know a defined name; but suggest "Impossible" means you aren't questioning the proper people.

MICHAELS sells it; as do many other Craft related stores; and someone in that store; perhaps in the Framing dept. with some knowledge; not just a seasonal clerk, should have the answer; or at least direct you to the aisle where you can find the product. Without question it isn't uncommon.|||I dont agree with the top question picked for this, shame it isnt up to the person who picks the question!

|||I believe the name is Gilding Paper.|||It is carbon paper, it's made from the same stuff in pencils.|||It's called "rub on transfer paper". I know that seems a little easy, but you can ask for brand names if you want as well, such as "Grafix Rub-on", Lowe Cornell, etc. A website below will give you some information on several brands.|||carbon paper|||gliding something sorry not to sure or it could be carbon paper
